Penultimate是高翔(Xiang Gao)在纽约设计的可穿戴艺术系列。​

高在中国温州出生长大，毕业于帕森斯设计学院(Parsons School of Design)，在2018年推出自己的系列之前，她曾在Clavin Klein 205W39NYC为Raf Simons工作过两年。设计师从她的中国根源和在美国的生活中汲取灵感，采用混合材料组装技术，以致敬上世纪70年代的可穿戴艺术(Wearable Art)运动。​

在与现代剪影融合的材料中，高以缓慢而稳定的节奏创造了富有想象力的胶囊系列。每一件作品都有自己的故事

Penultimate is a collection of wearable art, designed in New York City by Xiang Gao.

Born and raised in Wenzhou, China, Gao earned her masters from Parsons School of Design and spent two years working for Raf Simons at Clavin Klein 205W39NYC before she launched Penultimate in 2018. A celebration of craftsmanship, the designer draws from her Chinese roots and life in America and employs mixed material assemblage techniques that nod to the 1970s Wearable Art movement.

In fusing found materials with modern silhouettes, Gao creates imaginative capsule collections at a slow and steady pace. Each piece has its own story.
